Besturing van persluchtstations – voor een optimaal rendement
Adaptive, efficient, and network-integrated—the SIGMA AIR MANAGER 4.0 takes demand-based compressed air management to a whole new level.
The compressed air management system controls the operation of various compressors, dryers, and filters with unprecedented efficiency.
The patented, simulation-based optimization process calculates future compressed air demand based on past consumption. Decisions are no longer dictated by a narrow pressure range, but by the continuous, optimal operation of the compressed air station. Saving energy has never been easier.
By connecting all components of the compressed air station to the intelligent control system via the secure KAESER SIGMA NETWORK, comprehensive monitoring and energy management, as well as forward-looking maintenance measures, are made possible. This minimizes downtime and maximizes performance.
Your Benefits
- Demand-Based Compressed Air Management
- Adaptive Optimization of the Compressed Air Station
- Better overview, more control, fewer downtimes
Availability
With the SIGMA AIR MANAGER 4.0, organizing service activities is a breeze. Centralized processing of the compressed air station’s operational data provides a constant overview of the systems’ maintenance status. This allows maintenance intervals to be planned optimally and with an eye toward the future.
Monitoring
The SIGMA AIR MANAGER 4.0 enables comprehensive monitoring of the compressed air station. To this end, operating data is recorded, archived, and visualized. By continuously monitoring the station’s parameters, malfunctions can be detected at an early stage and resolved immediately.
Reporting
The SIGMA AIR MANAGER 4.0 records, archives, and processes the operational data from the compressed air station, thereby actively supporting energy management in accordance with ISO 50001. The required data is automatically collected and analyzed, and made available in a report.
Link
With the SIGMA AIR MANAGER 4.0, the digitization of the compressed air station is already possible. As a central hub, it connects all station components via the secure KAESER SIGMA NETWORK. Operating data is collected centrally and can be integrated into the existing control system. Communication is supported via Modbus TCP, Ethernet IP, ProfiNet, ProfiBus, Modbus RTU, and—looking ahead—also via OPC UA.
SIGMA AIR MANAGER 4.0: Down to the Last Detail
Optimization Process
The SIGMA AIR MANAGER 4.0 calculates future compressed air demand based on past compressed air consumption. Based on this demand, the technical status of the components, and the data collected on the system behavior of the installation, the patented, simulation-based optimization process enables the most efficient switching operations to be carried out in a predictive manner.
KAESER SIGMA NETWORK
Industrial applications place special demands on communication—including machine-to-machine communication. Communication must berobustandmanageable on-site, yetglobally compatible; it must be able to quickly and securely transmitlarge volumes of dataand ensure data integrity and the real-time capabilities required by the process. KAESER SIGMA NETWORK meets all these requirements and offers much more.
Together with the SIGMA AIR MANAGER 4.0 compressed air management system, the KAESER SIGMA NETWORK forms a perfectly coordinated, secure infrastructure for intelligent services in line with Industry 4.0: If the operator wishes, the compressed air station’s operational data can be securely transmitted to the KAESER DATA CENTER via a broadband connection.
The combination of remote diagnostics and needs-based predictive maintenance provides you with the highest level of reliability and efficiency for the entire system.
- Prevention of unplanned and planned downtime(malfunctions/maintenance) through analysis of operating parameters such as operating hours and temperatures
- Improving energy efficiencyby monitoring key operating parameters such as unit outlet temperature, pressure dew point, pressure differentials (filter), leakage, pressure, and capacity
- Reduction of service costs by up to 30%through optimal maintenance and the prevention of repairs
- Optimal adaptation of the compressed air system to meet needsthroughout its entire life cycle
