Condensate Treatment: AQUAMAT
Clean wastewater—no hassle
A characteristic feature of a compressor is that the condensate contains traces of oil. In the context of water protection, there are usuallygovernment regulationsgoverning themaximum permissible oil contentof condensate before it can be discharged into the sewer system as wastewater.
AQUAMAT oil-water separators separate dispersed oil. They have atype approval certificatefrom the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt). They help you treat condensate in compliance with the law—at the point of originandwithout consuming energy.
For special installation requirements, we offerelectronic level sensors, tested oil collection pans, andheaters for antifreeze protection. Specialcondensate distributorsare available to connect multiple separators in parallel with an even condensate load.
Your Benefits
Save 90% on disposal costs
- Having your condensate collected and treated by specialists is expensive. With the AQUAMAT, only a small residual amount of harmful substances remains to be disposed of. You’ll save 90% on standard disposal costs.
Long filter service life
- All CF models use powerful filters with synthetic filter media (not activated carbon) that offer an exceptionally high absorption capacity. Starting with the CF9 model, a stabilization section is also installed upstream of the filters, where the floating oil is directed via an overflow to an external collection tank. This reduces the load on the filters and extends the maintenance interval.
Easy to use
-
- You can easily check the quality of the treated wastewater visually using a turbidity reference test. The models with a main filter cartridge are particularly user-friendly. The cartridge can be removed using gripping handles. You can attach it to the housing to let it drain—neatly and hassle-free.
Overview of the System's Cost-Effectiveness
Thanks to savings of approximately 90% compared to standard condensate disposal costs, the AQUAMAT pays for itself in no time. At the same time, it makes a valuable contribution to the long-term cost profile of your entire system—an aspect that plays a central role in KAESER’s life-cycle management.
