ECO-DRAIN Electronic Condensate Drain
Compressed air leaks ruled out
Thanks to their control system—which adjusts based on the amount of condensate—their dirt-resistant valve mechanism, and their connectable alarm contact (starting with model 31), Kaeser’s electronic ECO-DRAIN condensate drains are exceptionally economical and reliable.
ECO-DRAIN condensate drains are available for compressor flow rates up to 1,700 m³/min. Kaeser also offers product variants suitable for special applications. These include, for example, aggressive condensate, operating pressures up to 63 bar, and vacuum or cryogenic applications.
Your Benefits
No compressed air leaks
- When the ECO-DRAIN’s capacitive level sensor detects that the maximum condensate level has been reached, its intelligent control electronics ensure that the valve diaphragm opens and closes at the right time. This ensures that only condensate is discharged, not compressed air. This saves energy.
Reliable drainage—even with contaminated condensate
-
- The capacitive level sensor measures the condensate level without using any mechanical parts that are susceptible to malfunction. The control lines to the valves are always free of contaminants. In addition, the opening cross-section is exceptionally large thanks to the use of an auxiliary distribution diaphragm valve. As a result, condensate is reliably drained even when it is heavily contaminated or consists entirely of oil.
Easy maintenance—no professional help required
-
- The service unit for models 30, 31, and 32 is an all-in-one component that contains all maintenance parts. You can easily snap it securely onto the control unit with a single click. Errors are prevented because there are no seals that need to be replaced. The service unit is 100% functionally tested before it leaves the factory, offers a significantly longer service life, and can be replaced without the help of an electrician.
The perfect addition: the AQUAMAT oil-water separator
Our tip: Treat condensate with AQUAMAT oil-water separators before discharging it into the sewer system. This ensures compliance with the law and is cost-effective.
